I just got it today and checked it out a bit. The jury's still out but I can say that this one is much worse out of the box than other Sterlings I've bought before. I'm still messing with it though to see what I can do. I'm hoping it still works out, this is the only short scale guitar I know of with a 2-point style tremolo. If it doesn't then I'm back to square one.

Oops - premature decision by the jury ... it's a keeper ...

When I saw the SB Cutlass 24" scale I thought great.I emailed EBMM and said are you going to be doing a USA Cutlass in that scale with the silent circuit and locking tuners but that it should also have 3 single coils and SS frets.I know If Brian May can do it then EBMM should be able to manage it .I own a Haiku LP with a Byrdland scale of 23.5" that my grandson uses.I have a Byrdland with a 23.5" scale which is so easy to play so for me a 24" scale that isn't a Fender would be a guitar that I would probably buy.The only other option would be to get the SB Cutlass and go all DIY which TBH I would rather not do.I am not a big fan of re-doing a guitar and I'm of the opinion that if you have to modify a guitar then you shouldn't have bought it in the first place.
