congrats!

I luv that colour!

I wasn't convinced at first... Then as I looked at the available colors more and more I realized, I really liked it. I kept going back to look at pic's of it over and over again.. I was ready to pull the trigger on a candy red..
Holiday weekend will certainly gives me the time to get more than a few licks in. I'm syked!
Anyway, its a done deal!

Interesting that the Luke seems to come in such few colors compared to the AL.

I don't see the graphite pearl on the EBMM site any longer...
Suits me fine!!
I suppose if I wear a black suit behind the guitar it will always look great....

That's good to hear........ Hoping to get some strat sounds out of the Luke.. What are the possibilities?

I believe you will get fairly close with the Luke. Also, talking about Graphite Pearl, I believe it is a discontinued color.

Here is my JP so you can see the color

Personally i dont think its tone is like a strat. I prefer it OVER the strat. Except when i hear jeff beck or eric johnson and few others play a strat...then i prefer the strat tone!

If you like the bridge/middle position on the strat, you may want to try an EMG 89 in the bridge so you can split the humbucker. And also have a single coil option in bridge position

You can definitely get some really nice convincing strat-like tones from the two single coils but fatter. The LUKE is very versatile and dead quiet, and handles distortion and crap loads of effects really well. Its a fun guitar to play.

It's the one from Guitar Center Platinum Room isnt it? hehe I used to look at that one quite a bit as well...graph pearl was another nice color that I guess people did not appreciate.

Brilliant guitar. I can't quite manage to get a strat tone, but there are definitely alot of great tones that out class the strat :)
