Hey guys now i have finally got my Luke!

I got a black/ no matching headstock / no piezo.. i didnt want the piezo.. and the color didnt actually matter.. first i wanted a carbon blue pearl/w matching headstock but then I would have to wait another 2 months.. so i decided to go for the black one..
And its GREAT.. !! It plays really well..

As soon as i got the time i will change the strings to 010s and put another spring to the trem.. Im more that satisfied :D

Now im looking for a amp that will fit my Luke... I'm playing on a Peavey bandit right now ( wich its not mine) and i'm wondering if you guys have any amp suggestions ?

I aint got mouch money left so im looking for an alround amp in the same price range as the peavey bandit 112.

I like the distortion in the bandit but i need a really good clean sound to since the luke sounds amazing when its clean.

So guys what amp do you guys suggest that i should buy?
And why?

Congrats on the new Luke, Victor! There's nothing like the smell of a new guitar in the morning, eh? :D

re: your amp Q ~ I don't know what a Bandit runs, but if I were looking for a good sounding amp on the cheap the first place I'd run would be the Peavey Classic series - they're just great sounding amps for the money. I've owned both the Classic 30 and the Delta Blues, and I would have held onto them if the floor space wasn't eaten up by my vintage Fenders (which cost a damn sight more, I might add!). Check 'em out and hear if they're what you're looking for...

alright Victor!!

Glad to hear you're enjoying your new Luke.

I'm playing mine through a Line 6 flextone II 1X12 at home. I use the blackface amp setting for clean tones and the Modern Hi gain setting (soldano) for oversaturated distortion tones. You can adjust tone knobs to taste. Used ones around $300

I use a 4X12 flextone II for the band stuff, but same settings.

I also have a Line 6 pod 2.0 (same deal) to make traveling, jamming, and recording possible without lugging gear. New around $200.

Lotsa good luck and long hours with the new guitar.

Tech 21 makes a good practice amp, solid sound and really practicle. I am not sure what they run anymore, but mine was about $300, so that might be too much.

Avoid the Gorilla. I had one of those (it cost me #40) and I used to bring it to rehersal and use it as punishment for anyone that forgot their music/amp/to practice/etc... You should hear how crappy a keyboard sounds through it.

You're all playing great guitars but the amps mentioned aren't worth to me to play a Musicman on, except the Peavey Classic (have owned one, for practicing only). Save some extra money to buy a great tube amp. I've got two Koch Powertone's with two 4x12" cabs. I know, in USA Koch is expensive. But it's worth the money. I think the same distributor that does Eden bassamps does import Koch.

Hej Victor -

Try the Laney VC30 if you like the sound of Vox AC30s....it's known as a pretty good clone for less than half the price of the "real deal", it's all-tube and class
"A", and I believe it also has a few modern features in the mix too. I tried one out a few years ago and was very impressed (unfortunately, Laney isn't as widely distributed in the US as they used to be since they parted ways with Ibanez).

They also made a more modern style 4 channel amp called the ChromeOZone which is supposedly pretty amazing, however, I've never heard, seen, or played thru one....not sure if it's still made or not, though.
