Thanks for all the recommendations everyone, it seems there is a massive amount of choices out there. Now that I'm back in NY, I can go and check out the selection at Pedal Geek and actually test drive a few to find what I like....

As for the band, we set a Feb/March goal for a gig. I know that's some time away but we really want to learn a slew of new material and get back to our normal routine of two 20-30 song sets. When we were gigging regularly we had well over 80 songs we could break out. We liked that better than a three set gig with the last tunes being played for the inebriated!:D

Allow me to resurrect this thread:)

So, we have jammed several times since I have moved back to NY, The feeling is incredible and it amazes me what one can remember as soon as the group starts playing. It seems to be a muscle memory exercise and I ended up remembering the changes in songs that I had forgotten we once played !!

As for a boost, I ended up going with the Catalinbread Naga Viper and I couldn't be happier. For lack of a better word, I find it adds a creaminess as well as boost that is exactly what I was after. I had a great experience with the cats over at Prymaxe Vintage, Corey is great to deal with and knows his stuff.

As for my band, we are getting really into it and expanding our set list to include songs that we consider important and not worrying about covering all the bases (granted we've always done that but this time it's more blatant)

Thanks for all the well wishes guys, I'll keep you posted as to what we're up to and maybe even post a gig location for my fellow Long Islanders!!

Thanks all, it was an outstanding night. For a group of guys who haven't played together in years I'm proud to say we managed to crank out a dozen tunes!! The Morse more than held it's own and the neck pickup is just perfect for some of the solos. I'm still buzzing about it today. As for my injury situation, acupuncture has been the mojo that helped me the most. I was surprised that it makes such a huge difference and was reluctant to try it because I always joking referred to it as 'voodoo' but it works wonders for me. I also wear one of the shooting sleeves that you see the NBA cats wearing. It is a compression sleeve and and soon as my arm gets warm, it keeps it warm. Now, I need to get some recommendation on a nice boost pedal for solos, any suggestions?

Cool to see that your wrist is healed now. I got probleme too last year, my two wrist was injured too. It took about one year to recover. Glad to see that you're out of it too !!! Have good time with your band and your EBMM !!!
