Well after about 3 weeks of constant wait my EBMM JP6 is here WOOT. She's only a basic one with a maple headstock and no piezos but hey who cares its a EBMM. for weeks ive been reading all these posts about how great EBMMs are. I thought to myself can they really be this good. After picking up the JP I was amazed. Ive played a lot of guitars (mainly cause my dad is a gear whore and forever getting new ones) but this one is a clear cut above the rest. Its so well made and feels amazing. I can safely say EBMM you have my cash for my next guitar which once i get the money is gonna be a JP7. Ill post some pics soon since ive got to leave tonight to go to portsmouth for a sports weekend without my new baby:( Thank you EBMM and thanks to all the guys who have posted here just reading the posts about these guitars makes you wanna own more than one ;)

thanks mate it really does feel great to be part of this great bunch of people and what an axe! What does the piezos actually sound like how close are they to an actual acoustic sound ? and are they worth having??

Don't worry about the piezos. :) I don't have them on mine, and unlike most people it seems, I didn't want them on mine. You're just feeling the pangs of not getting the supposed "pimp daddy" version of your guitar, that's all.

I like piezos (used to have a Parker Fly), and it's very cool and all... but I just never cared for it on my shred guitars, you know? I can think of half a dozen guitar models I'd like to have piezos on, but the JP isn't one of them. Just my two cents.

Congrats of your purchase!! You're really gonna love it. :D

Personally my next JP7 will have the piezo. I'd love that ability to change from all out metal madness to nice smooth acoustic tones at the flip of a switch. I guess it depends on what kind of music you play!

Welcome. (Notice I didn't say "to the addict***") ( only 3 cents Koogie )

IMO the JP6 is the best guitar under $15,000

Don’t sweat the Piezo or lack thereof, they’re great if you’re an acoustic guitar head as well like me - they sound pretty darn good for a solid body electric, and they limit guitar changes while performing, but you can get a really high quality clean sound out of the JP’s magnetic pickups that’ll do quite nicely.

Edensdad...you are trying to find a loop hole in the deal.....good on ya! LOL

Sandy....congrats on the JP. I have a few and only one has the piezo option. I love 'em all just the same......they are truly wonderful works of musical art!

Pffft! Three months, one week and still counting. But im not bitter! Hope you're enjoying it. I can't wait to get mine. Still i suppose I'm lucky and you're luckier still really. The guy I spoke to at strings and things about the where abouts of my JP (about which I have to say thanks to Beth for getting back to me :D ) said he had to wait for a year for his LUKE. Still, we all know it's worth it. :D
