How great that an attack on the owner and the company somehow turned into this announcement making so many lefty diehards happy!

Here's hoping it quickly becomes your biggest lefty seller.

Exactly!! Out of something bad some something great!!

I actually have a few lefty friends who i told HAVE TO buy a JP when it's available. Jimmy-Jengas and I were "official lobbyists" for the left handed JP and now that they are making it available to us, I am going to show my thanks by spreading the word everywhere about them; through my band, on the internet, hell I'll go door to door if I have to!! We could be the "Lefty JP Street Team." I really want to help make it the best selling, best made, left handed solid body electric on the market.

I was thinking about it, and there is simply no competition for a great left handed guitar. That brand that start with an I makes an all right left handed guitar, but it has crappy pickups and only comes in one color. None of the other brands make a decent 24 fret guitar! This is going to light a fire under their asses, for sure!

Jimmy:

I'm giving you an e-hug right now. This is just awesome. Now Big Poppa, you know how to run a business. I bet he has a big smile on his face keeping customers happy- rightfully so.

I think the topic should now become the EBMM Staff and Faculty Appreciation Thread.

What a great thing for lefties. I guess there is a silver lining in every cloud after all!

EBMM is a solid company and BP . . . well, is solid too.

This is awesome. I'm really happy for you lefties! I really do love this company, even though I don't even own any Balls yet haha. But I've been using Ernie Ball strings since I've started playing. Every Music Man guitar I've ever played just kicked the ass of all other guitar brands. I've wanted a JP for a couple years now, but I don't have the money, mainly because I'm not old enough to work yet. Then again, graduation is coming up...and I got a big scholarship to high school...But I've been playing guitar for a few years, and in the past couple years, I've been getting really serious about it. Hopefully someday I will own one of these wonderful guitars! John Petrucci is my favorite player and biggest influence and his signature guitar was the greatest I've ever played. It felt like it was made for me.

But now I think we should all stop pestering BP for other possible guitars to be released by EBMM...for now :)

Oh man.

I am actually done thinking about guitars after this announcement. I knew in my little heart that when (not if, but WHEN) the JP6 was announced left handed, that it would be MY guitar. I am one step closer to being rid of every other humbucking guitar I own. I plan on having two Silhouette Specials (one to back up the other, just in case) and two JP6s (because they are so neat I should have two). I have the amp that I want, and all the pedals I want (minus that damned wah) and am now mentally satisfied with the guitar choices I've made. I finally feel like I don't have to look any more. I've gone through every guitar company out there, to finally come home to my Balls.

Hell, check out the signature for more proof.

Oh man. There's no MIGHT have to get on board. DO IT!

PEER PRESSURE!

I'm getting a white one and a Pearl Redburst one. Scott is getting a Mystic Dream one. I think you should get a ... Radiance Red one! That's my two cents!

By the way, it has kind of sunk in. I have to reaffirm it by reading this thread every couple hours, but it's getting there.

Oh you know very well that EB is not making left handed straplocks LOL.

ok, now I'm an "official lobbyist for left handed straplocks" :p

And Tim, I may have to get a BFR. I asked my wife her favorite one and she said "oh that Ruby Redburst is pretty." heehee, gotta get what the wife says!!! ;)

I don't have to report to a first in command just yet. I don't think I'm really "marriage" material currently. I am in my "selfish" phase right now, what with buying the new amp and all the pedals and now selling my guitars to get two JP6s. I am also spending a large amount of money on Evidence Audio cables. They are bloody expensive, but I can hear an audible difference between them and other cables. I'm excited.

I spent the last few days deciding on the colors of the JPs I'd be buying and if I was going to get a BFR. I decided that for the time being, it will be two JP6s and there will be a savings fund started for a realy nice flame top emerald BFR. With due time, fellows... with due time!

im very excited for the lefties out there! as i know what an amazing guitar the JP is it was kind of sad that the lefties could not experience the same joy that all JP players get from their guitars. but now they will be able to.. when i first read this thread it made me smile. and made me reinforce the belief that EBMM are one of if not THE BEST guitar company on the planet! the amount they do for the customers (ie taking ideas on board like the lefty JP and bringing it to life!) im so glad to be a part of it all. and i am an all out EBMM man, now if only EBMM did a proper acoustic guitar ;) but seriously EBMM have done alot of guitars this last year (ie new BFR models, colours, new LE etc etc...) and it amazes me that they can do so much in such a small timeframe!
Kudos to you BP and EBMM, you are doing a fine job and you have one firm supporter/customer here. :)
