There's multiple dealers in Edmonton here. I use Al at the West End Rock Shop, although my store (which is affiliated with the Rock Shop) is an official dealer now. We're just waiting for some stock to come trickling in. Long and McQuade is pretty good too. They're a big mega-chain so they keep things competitively priced.

The guitar I've been pining for was announced this year. The amp I've been waiting for came out this year. Musically speaking, it's my year. The only thing that could happen that could be more was if the right people listened to my MySpace tunes and said "with a little refinement you could be great" and signed me as a prospective up and comer. I mean, how many young people play the blues?

Since it's my year, I figure my birthday is a lovely time for them to unveil the new JP LH. It seems fitting that as of this year, I'll be absolutely happy with my gear... it'll just be buying more of the same stuff from here on in.

I was given an October date, so the Eleventh is where my money is.

There are 3 stickies up top about the "UK knucklehead bash" that happened months ago. I think they should remove at least 2 of them and give this thread a sticky so our left handed brothers can be aware of this great news and be ready when the ordering window opens. Just a thought...
