At least my bumps have content in them. My posts make it worth reading this thread because I am a funny guy. Shape up, you lugs. You're making lefties look daft. Tsk tsk tsk.

I actually had to renege on my LE08 order for now. I am a lot less rich than I thought I was. I need to pay me some bills and then see if I can justify the buy... otherwise I'm waiting until October for my JP!

So I practically rearrange my whole house. I cleaned up 3 rooms to make space to the room across mine. I am going to use that room to make a small studio, nothing fancy just a regular ol' home studio.

Good for you dude....you'll make some serious noise when you get your JP, and you'll have the tools to capture it. Look forward to hearing some of your stuff.

thanks man, if you're curious I made the demo for our band. It's on my link, I am getting a better grip at recording.

I can't wait for my JP either, I promised my girl I was going to go outside and yell like a maniac when I get it :) .

Am I the ONLY lefty that plans on using his JP6 for something other than metal? Holy crap guys, turn down the mains! Hahahaha. I want to get some jazzy stuff out of it, and I can probably coax some country twang out of it... so this makes me the odd man out... in a group of odd men out. Great.

I AM positively delightful! Thanks for noticing! Hahahaha. I'll be fine. I'm used to being called a weirdo, so playing jazz and twang with a JP is not something I'm unprepared for. More blues than anything else will make its way from this beast though...

Mmmm. JP.

Thanks pal.

At least I can say I actually know some Dream Theater stuff now. It would be completely weird otherwise. I actually have "As I Am" stuck in my head.

That thing is going to rock had tasty abs, metal or blues or whatever.

Nice!!! Good song to have stuck in your head.

Seriously, the JP is gonna be great for all the styles you play, no worries.

I think I'd like to hear a current owner of a JP6 play some clean and maybe slightly overdriven blues and make a soundclip of it for me. I've been doing some research and have a small fear that the pickups are going to be very hot, and maybe too high output. I've been eyeing up some PAF Pros or maybe a Tone Zone and Air Norton... what pickup actually comes in the neck position? I know the D-Sonic is the bridge one, but the website stipulates that it's another "custom" one... isn't it very similar to the Air Norton? That's what I remember anyways.

Very, very close to the Air Norton. I've heard someone say it's like 98% like the Air Norton.

I am about to put an Air Norton and D-sonic on my Epiphone, I hope it sounds good :)

Btw, I am a little bummed out guys. I pretty much sold my Marshall amp to be able to pay for my Atomic. I feel a little down because this was my first band amp :(

Don't feel down. I haven't seen any of my original equipment in probably ten years. Maybe more, if I were to figure it out... As we mature and progress in our playing, we find what we really want. It's a growing process.

Unless your Marshall was a 1960's Bluesbreaker, I think you'll be okay. Just keep at 'er and new things will come your way... like a JP6LH!

No worries, bro. We're all in this mess together. A little solidarity within the ranks is probably a good thing.
