Lol

I spell the word with a "K" due to many reasons. One of them is due to the reason I don't want the word to reflect the word "corn" as much.

It never crossed my mind about a similarity between "korny" and that band we shall not speak about.

You don't want the word to reflect "corn" as much? In what sense? It's not like your mentioning that the band is left handed conjures up images of a field of cobs.

Furthermore, what's wrong with corn? Cobs... popping... rhymes with porn.

Sheesh. Lay off the vegetables.

I love corn but not the sweet kind as much.

This way the word can be able to give it more of a "form of ridiculous (cheesy)" meaning. Also, I read that Danish use (spell) the word corny with a "K." Either way, the word is slang so it really has no set of rules.

corn rhymes with porn classic

"I read that the danish spell..."

What? Are you Danish now? Do you do EVERYTHING the Danes do? If a bunch of Danes jumped off a bridge, would you do it too? Grow a backbone and be yourself for christ's sakes!

JEG elske jer netop den måde du er. <---- Danish.

Sorry for bringing that to the debate. Maybe if you wouldn't be making such a big deal because I spelled a word a different way. I don't know if you are "trying" to be funny but I am not finding it this way. As a matter of fact I getting quite irritated and I don't see what I've done to fire this kind of behavior.

Well, luckily I put no stock into your harsh reaction. I figured that something was off because last time I checked I am hilarious. I figured "it's not me, it's you" so we're cool.

Hahahahahaha.

All joking aside, I just went back and read the twenty plus pages in this thread. I've taken notice of a few things:

There are a LOT of people saying they're going to be buying at least one JP6LH. I really hope these people hold up their end of the deal. I don't want this to be a letdown for the boys and girls at MM. I want this guitar to be the best and best selling left handed guitar of all time.

Scott and I post a lot. His posts are welcoming new people to this thread and forum as well as reacting to my incessant off-the-wall banter. It's a great thread. I actually laughed out loud at some of the things written in it. Wow, I say.

I don't think I've said it in awhile, but I feel I should reiterate how genuinely pleased I am to have been a part of this all. I recently went to the local guitar shoppe and played a right handed JP for about an hour. Even right handed being played upside down, the thing is phenomenal. I can't even fathom how I'm going to feel when I hold the left handed JP in my hands.

I'm glad that people are stating to understand my sense of humor as well. Wow, I'd hate to be misrepresented because someone didn't know how to take what I wrote. I look forward to the next couple months to see where this thread goes because I think we're getting closer to the official release.

Huzzah.

Good on you! I bet it'll look gross wrong-handed. HAHAHAHA.

I went through a Mystic Dream phase. Maybe eventually I'll get one of them too.

Well, stick to your guns... or just continue flip-flopping like the rest of us on what we want. The possibilities are near endless!

That Olive Gold color looks god awful in the first pictures that were posted of it, but then the picture with Sterling playing the bass in that finish makes it look more gold and less barfy, which is a really great thing. Too bad pictures can be so deceiving. This is making me want to look more into that Olive Gold....

I've now gone from Mystic Dream to Pearl Redburst to White to Black back to Pearl Redburst and now onto this Olive Gold... the whole time I've been hoping for an early release date on the lefties so that I could get one in the LE08 finish.

It'll change by next week I bet... if not tomorrow.

I get so anxious every time I see somebody playing a JP. I can't wait to get mine.

On other sweet news, we just got kicked out of our practice place. Our drummer decides to not practice like he's suppose to and decided to slaughter all the songs on the first run.
