Well I guess I might as well join the AL parade, having finally taken a few shots of mine (which arrived last week the day before Thanksgiving). Pete posted a few shots before he shipped it out, but here it is in its new home:

The MM-90s are very cool - not as hot as typical P-90s, perhaps a bit closer to the G&L ASAT Special pickups in overall sound but more organic and less "hi-fi" than the MFDs. I'm still getting to know everything this guitar can do .

Not much figure on the neck, but hey, you don't play the birdseye

Rob - it's the black pearloid. It's darker in person; the flash made it look closer to the abalone.

All kidding aside, thanks for the super service. I know that I'm going to want an EBMM with regular single coils again down the road, but I'm going to live this AL for a while before I decide between an SSS AL or an SSS Silo Special.
