Well, I finally got around to using my Dargie Bongo 4H for a very rough demo recording last night. I bought the Bongo specifically for recording in my home project studio, and let me tell you...

IT ROCKS!!

That 18-volt preamp provides some kick-arse signal-to-noise ratio when recording direct! I didnt' even bother to mess with the EQ because it sounds pretty darn good at the detented EQ positions.

Sadly, I didn't get around to churning out an MP3 just yet.. I only walked away from the demo at 3:45am and had to leave for work at 6:30am. But I'll try to get an MP3 clip posted within the next day or two.

I'm going in the studio this Monday to record some cover songs for a bar demo. I'll be using my Stealth Bongo for the recording....should be interesting.
