Well I finally put the new tubes in and what a difference. I should have done it long ago. I ordered them from eurotubes. Bob's a great guy to deal with too. 2 JJ E34l's for the power section and 4 ECC83S in the preamp with one balanced for the phase inverter v4. It's the one closest to the power tubes. In the ultra channel with the button on lead 1, I can have the gain maxed and the notes still ring clear. Before it was just real fuzzy. I still haven't had a chance to crank it yet, just played at low volumes so far. I can't believe how easy they are to bias. I had myself worried that it was going to be complicated. Not sure why, I guess I was scared I was going to blow it up. 
Hopefully tomorrow I'll get a chance to really get them tubes glowing during the day so I wont wake anybody up. Although I'm really tempted right now.
