this baby now has returned and is shining more than 2 hours everyday. i love that orange in the sky! it gives such energy.. hehe.. enough to get me to take these photos!

well it shines for a bit more now.. id say around 8 hours. midwinter we have no direct sunlight and perhaps 3 hours of light.. i think i posted some timelapse videos way back of 24/7 and 0/7 sunshine. do a search and you should find em

if you ever been to alaska i guess you have experience the same thing

day before christmas..
the camera is placed straight across the sea from me, shooting to the left of my livingroom view.

there is this nice period in the spring where we have normal days.. the autumn is kinda like the summer dying.. so i wouldnt call it normal

geez.. id like to move somewhere without snow and freezing temperatures.. where the sun shines all the time and the beer doesnt work untill youve had a 12pack of it

Man you are waaaay up there. Norway? Or are you in Finland? I've been all over Finland but never that far north.

On the flip side your summer days are quite long. Nothing like 20 hours of direct sunlight to grow some huge veggies (and herbs )
