Bold. I dig it, especially on the Dargie!

Thanks Stephen!

I initially had it on my Sapphire Black Sr, then my Fiance told me to try it out on "Gator", as she refers to my Dargie. I thought it looked wild...and so I'll keep it on there for a while.

I grew up in the Heavy Metal 80's, so the pattern reminds me of the good ole days of my youth.

Zebra stripe

I like the idea and the look but would not do it on my Dargie... I'll probably try that on my white one sometime!

I would try Paisley

Just tried Paisley on the Dargie. Didn't do anything for me. The pickguard and the colour compete for attention and thus neutralize each other. Black, mirror and clear are still the best pickguards for Dargie's... naturally, in my opinion!

I wonder if he realized that BOTH pics are of the same (DARGIE II) bass??

That color shifting paint is AMAZING!

Damn! You are right!

I haven't paid much attention to the second shots, since they looked like Olive Gold to me, a finish that doesn't do much for me.

Looking closer, the bright green reflections on the chrome parts clearly show it's a DD2. So, yes, the the shifting IS amazing and RagingDog needs to adjust the white balance on his camera when taking shots with a flash (the very different looking carpet made the pics look like taken on different days).

Either way, nice one! But I still prefer the rich green. :D

The clear is ok on the Dargie....
I love Mirror guards, but thought it might look a bit odd on there.

Do you have any pictures of your with a mirror guard?

I had to Google this:

Daktari (Swahili for "doctor") is an American children's drama series that aired on CBS from 1966 to 1969.
