I don't know why it took zillions of posts and arguing back and forth to clearify that the reason was logistic issues.
I got the assumption all guitars were mainly handcrafted, and further more handpainted.

Now I know.

I think it boils down to this:
NOTHING that is crafted is as simple as it seems..
Whether your renovating a kitchen, reassembling a custom mountain bike, or painting a guitar....if you want it done right it takes 2 things.....

TIME

and

EXPERIENCE


For those who don't do it regularly, it's hard to appreciate the subtlties.
I've built my own guitar and custom painted another- they took WAY more time than I thought and the next one(s) will turn out much better ;) .

Plug and play doesn't apply to high quality/detailed work.
