Finding a Stingray Neck

How hard is it to find or order a 5 string Maple stingray neck? Reason is, Im going to be either getting a new stingray and chances are its going to be a transparent red with maple. Not too happy bout the transparent. Or its going to be Cndy Red with Rosewood FB and I HAVE to have a maple Fret board.. So where can I get one and how much are they?

You're basically going to have to find someone who will swap necks with you or - not likely - find one on eBay.

you cant order staight from the factory. you have to go thru a dealer for that.

Yea I didn't think you could order them straight from there, Its just that I cannot find a single Candy Red stingray on the internet except this place.

There are many other dealers that may have what you're looking for in stock (or at least a close match). I'll PM you a few thoughts.

Also, do a search on gbase.com for Stingray, lots of new Stingrays and Music Man dealers.

What are your color choices - does it have to be CAR with rosewood?

It HAS to be maple FB, I dunno what it is but ever since my first ErnieBall Stingray with maple fretboard I can't go back.. There is just something that irritates me when I have two types of wood on my neck..
