OK so the other day I was jamming away and I accidently rubbed my forehead with my left fingers...ewwww! So I knew I had to wash my hands again, but then I thought, man I'd have to unplug, put my Silo down, so I said screw it, I'll just wipe them, my fingers that is, really good on the cloth I keep handy. Well, if anyone knows about oily skin, they know that no amount of wiping removes those oils from ones finger tips, which was a good thing cause I kept on playing and I noticed, to some degree, less friction while playing. Now I'm gonna try this again tonight when I get home, and perhaps I will try and gather some residue from the mother load which resides between my legs underneath camp left/right! Now I could provide samples to anyone who wishes to seek a more natural alternative to those silicone based products...no but seriosly I was only joking about the samples...I will try and test out this new method of finger easing though. I'm not worried about build up either cause I always wipe and clean my guitar thourouly when finished...perhaps I should do the same with the guy playing

Jaco used toeat fried chicken before gigs and use the chicken grease to lube up his basses.

I think this might be taking Chicken Pickin' and Boogie Woogie one step too far

No, you are thinking of "whacking"...."wanking" is the art of soloing without any direction ala C.C. DeVille of Poison (no disrespect intended to any Poison fans)...or that one dude at the music store playing the same Pentatonic Scale over and over and over again. But, I can see where your mind is.....hehehe....

Oh I thought the term 'Wanker' was derrived from 'Wanking', so now if someone calls me a 'Wanker", I should get offended then...
