I thought my '89 Stingray sounded good by itself, but in my first band practice with it, it sounded amazing!

The moment I pulled it out of it's case the band just said "Wow!".

We are doing a cover of Mr Pink by Level 42 and the bass really sounds great.

The strings are a little old so the sound wasn't quite as bright as i'd like but that Stingray thump is out of this world.

We're performing at our school prom on monday so i'll give an update on how it sounds live.

EBMM basses are the best!:D

I didn't even think of bringing my camera to band practice.

There will be photos of the gig.

...and talking of gigs, i'm going to see Linken Park, Jay-Z, N*E*R*D* and Pendulum at Milton Keynes on sunday. I'll try and get some photos of Pheonix (linken park's bassist) playing one of his Stingrays. :D

I saw 3.5 Stingrays at Project Revolution.

The First belonged to the Bassist of Pendulum. It was a black on black SR4 HH with a black finished neck and black tuners. Might have been a custom job by EBMM or he might have had it done himself.

The other three 2.5 belonged to Pheonix of Linken Park, sadly he didn't bring out any of his blue dawns. One was his honeyburst SR4 (which you can almost see in the pictures), the second was an egyptian smoke SR5 and the last...

...well, it was a black on black SR4 but it seemed to be half missing. The body had been split right down the side so the control plate was missing. I'm not exactly sure how it still worked or how he could tune it as a tuning peg was missing.
