Since BFR's are whatever the Ball Family wants..Here are the frst two that will be avialable on an ongoing basis. The ordering window isnt until the January Namm. Prices wont be announced until then either.

The new John Petrucci F-1 model. This is a alder bodied, MTB (mahog tone block) with a stunning maple top. THis will only be available in the new JP configuration. THe colors will also be announced at NAMM

THe maple topped LUke....Alder, MTB and maple cap.....colors and any options will be announced at NAmm also

So the crux of this message is that we will be offering what was once just torture to uyou catsorinos next year.....

And you tell me all this just after I've bought my JP LE 06.

You know how much I love JPs and Lukes, why do you have to torture me so??? I'm just a lowly student, how am I supposed to afford uni when I've bought a BFR? ;)

Yes!!!!!! I've been dreaming of the F-1 since its debut and now we get the opportunity to get one. BP, you truly rule! My poor wallet is in for a very empty 2007... an F-1 and an LE JP-7. Times like these I'm glad I'm single :)

Wow, BP you just made my day!!

More Pets to collect, YES!!

The only bad thing is I don' think I have enough room in my house for any more JP's.

Are they only available for a limited time? That was never clear, although I understand about the availability of certain woods etc. that will be used in the BFR's.

BP, thanx, this is good news and bad news. People will be pumped to be able to get these, but the divorce right will be shooting thru the roof once they are available.

This is great news! I'll have to get the plumber to over-estimate the cost of my new bathroom and siphon some funds off :D

As for availability:

Here are the frst two that will be avialable on an ongoing basis.

That says to me that they will be available for a while.

Great news. I'd also like to know if BFRs are limited in production.

I would think with "a small window", they will be made up until the cut off date...kinda like the Dargie Delights. Not a set number...but, I could be reading more into it.

Whew....I had a feeling I was safe, for the time being, since this was announced on the skinny string side.

Congrats, guys! Having heard the LUKE in action, I can tell you that it's an amazing build for a guitar. Good luck with the whole "playing like LUKE" thing, though. :D

I'm scared for the first bass BFRs....I'm trying to buy a house, and things like this don't help!
