I come home at 4AM, and there is 5 pages for me to read of these beautifull instrumnets coming up in this 2007 year, closely aproaching (and creeping up) on US.
I am just patiently waiting for the 20th Silo to come into my posession (one AMAzing piece of art), and a "regular" A.S.S. fully loaded. I thought that this would be ultimate instrumentation (phylosophically thinking, but not an actual word), but it seems that this world is better for one self through other good minded people; than one actually thinks!
.....................
What I'm trying to say.........is..that I LOVE EBMM!!!
I shall NOT touch any other piece of wood.....other than a real TREE in the woods, or a Music Man, CRAFTED of natures wood :D!

Edit: I'm a bit drunk :).

Okay, here we go. Blue Dawn, JP F-1, Maple/MTB Luke... Oooh boy. I think a Blue Dawn AL will have to be the one for me in 2007 if I can only have one guitar, but I want it with rosewood. Unfortunately, when I talked to BP in Dallas, he didn't know if the AL would have rosewood. I might have to be a BD Bongo 4HH or HS instead, but we'll see.

Can't wait to hear the F-1 in action on the new DT album and on tour. Then, of course, there's the prospect of having one. At least, the F1 and the Luke will be around if I can't make it happen in 2007.

I'm wondering if the BFRs will have some sort of logo on them to denote that they are BFRs.

I sort of envisioned "Ball Family Reserve" painted on the back of the guitar like "Dargie Delight" or the "Limited Edition 200x." I can sort of see a John Petrucci signature on the back of the F1 with a little F1 car zooming along.

Can't wait to see what BP and the boys have cooked up for this.

I just registered specifically to chime in and ask about a seven string version of the Petrucci F-1. I'm looking to buy a new high end guitar shortly after NAMM and if the F-1 is available in a seven I'll be buying one.

The short answer is that only EBMM and Petrucci will be able to tell you. I don't know if they even have had that discussion with John Petrucci yet. I asked Sterling Ball in Dallas last week if he had any clue when the F1 would be available. He intimated that he didn't even know when the F1 would be out, because he hadn't had an opportunity to talk to JP about it since JP returned from the South American G3 dates. They may have talked since. It seems likely, but I just want to say it's also quite likely Sterling doesn't even know the answer to your question yet.

Thanks, that's what I figured. I just wanted to add to the chorus to express interest in a seven string version of this as it's gorgeous ;) I've been hoping for a non-basswood Petrucci seven for ages.

You are getting the news as we develop it...We are working on the seven string F-1 proto but no promises until the process is completed

There ya go. The definitive word--as of today.

At least it's in January!
The wait isn't too long away!

I hope that the waiting period after placing my order won't be getting longer and longer and longer...
