First gig ever

I got my first Music Man last week and I played in my first gig ever this weekend. Here's me with my new JP6:

I was pretty damn nervous playing and singing in front of people for the first time (I butchered most of my solos) After about the 5th song or so I settled down a bit. We played 15 songs as the sun was setting. My EBMM was flawless and I even got to use the piezo pickup for Wish you were here. Loving my new music man! Thanks Ernie Ball!

We were playing at a backyard outdoor movie party, so that was the screen the movie was going to be played on after our set. The screen is a 16'x9' blackout cloth. The projector was a regular dell business projector connected to a laptop.

Congrats on the JP and the gig, it is only natural to feel nervous the first few times playing in front of a crowd. Hell even some of the greatest players ever still say on occasion they get a bit nervous depending on the show, but once that first song starts it is gone.

Thanks! I've been a bedroom player for years but started jamming with some guys about a year ago. We convinced a guy at the office to try bass about 5 months ago and this was our first performance for a crowd.
