These are the options EBMM offers.

Then there's always the aftermarket companies.

Black Cherry Burst looks GREAT with a clear pickguard.

White Pearloid / Black would look good as well.

Best thing about it, it's just a pickguard, if you get tired of one color, you can swap it out.

White pearloid looks great with black cherry burst. I would make sure it's a black pickup so that it will match better if you ever want to change the pickguard. I like the contrast of white (or light) guards and black pickups too.

Can you order one without any pickguard??
My 07 LE Dawn Blueburst would look even better if it had no pickguard.

Love the color combo you've selected - w/ matching headstock - very nice!

Pickguard?

Go black...

Then, possibly, go clear...

But definitely go black...

I think...

Practically my bass you're talking about there.

Check the link w/ pics. Easy decision, go with the black pickguard <--clicky, clicky (old pic, still had the protective film on the pickguard)... just imagine a bit more gloss on the pickguard.

I don't think you can order without a pg ... and +1 on black with a clear for a second option. You will love it!

Hey there Hear1,

with rosewood I may have gone for Black Pearloid, as it wuz, My SR5 was ordered with maple and she's gorgeous with White Perloid, Black Cherry Burst is a very elegant clr choice and many have raved about how mine looks and of course we know MusicMan basses sound terrific and play even better ... my only suggestion is to stay healthy and don't get sidelined with and illness or injuries .. sittin' out is no fun at all ...:( with rosewood, I'd also consider black ice or solid black which can look very snazzy,

and good luck with college:)

all the bass,

/PL:)

Black Cherry Burst? Only with White Perloid! :D

BUT: With the dual pickups and the rosewood board it would probably look better with a black pickguard...

or you could just order with any pickguard and take it off? Just put the screws in the holes though, or it looks silly.
