Having seriously gassed after a stingray for many years I finally got the chance to buy a second hand yr 2000 4-string with piezo last week, and tonight it got its first proper workout with the band at gig volume.
What a difference! Been playing a jap fender jazz before which i found very comfortable and versatile, but the sheer presence of the MM tone and the authority was marvellous. Got some great comments from the other band members, I must say its been well worth the wait. Gig is this Sat nite, can't wait. Lovely bass and one of the nicest necks. I guess I'm preaching to the converted here.;)

Its a June 2000 s/no, sparkly black body with white perloid scratchplate, maple neck, 4 string, 3-eq with piezo bridge, hipshot drop-D tuner and it sounds rather good :)
