Hey guys. My name is Tim. Im a guitar a holic. The reason Im here is because I have coveted Music man guitars since the EVH days. Ive also been a dream Theater fan since I was 14 so going on 30 years. Im not exactly how many of the ember glows were made in 2024 but I know this one was made in late sept of 2024. After a restring (done after the pics) with a little minor set up work for my playing style this thing stays in tune better than my floyd equipped six from another custom manufacturer. Even though my favorite color is purple, the Ember Glow finish really suits my personality. I LOVE all the purple models that have come out. But for some reason I saw this and it just spoke to me much like many other guitars I never thought I would own. I have had high end guitars. I have been having a hard time finding a 7 string that was high quality. I received 2 different guitars before this from two different manufacturers and both had defects beyond cosmetic making them unplayable. I saw this and as a resident of Illinois and old enough to get the reference I went full Wayne's World and was like "It will be mine, oh yes it will be mine..." And I was fortunate enough to make it happen. And of the 250+ high end and custom guitars ive owned over my 34 years of playing this really is the pinnacle as far as playability and tone. I have a LOT of Ernie ball stickers on my dresser Ive had since I started playing guitar. Lots of ernie ball stickers. But never had a Music Man guitar. And ive watched every video on how this is made. And I was zooming on on shots to see how the wings were attached. You should see it in person under sun light. Even the Okoume sides have this ribbon streak to them combined with the shield inlay it really looks like its as if it was on fire under sunlight.
