Hi Folks, I have just got my hands on my first EB guitar, an Axis Tribute. So far, it feels and plays like a dream - except from the annoying trem. I gather from the forum discussions that the trem is supposed to sit flush against the body. That's fine, but whenever I bend a string at least a full tone, you can feel the trem bridge pull up and then hit the body on the way down. Is this a relatively easy fix? Something to do with the springs at the back perhaps? You help is much appreciated.

Thanks mate. Not an that experienced when it comes to tinkering with these trems, but will give it a go. And please may I introduce you to Goldie. It's nice to be part of the EB family.

Excuse the pun, but I think I struck gold with her. She is beautiful. Already I'm thinking of a second Axis... is that bad?

One leads to, 2 leads to 3, etc.. I bought my first EVHMM in 90, when they first came out. A natural finish beauty, wish I would have kept that one! Since then, I have had like 12-14 other EVHMM's & a couple Axis also. I have owned every EVH endorsed guitar over the years, the Music Man guitars are still my favorite! Sound & feel, can't be beat! The best!
