Fixing a Couple of Dings in Graphite Pearl

Did a search through the forum on fixing dings. Looks like the consensus is either nail polish, Sharpie with clear nail polish, auto paint. What's my best bet for Graphite Pearl? Seems auto paint might be the best match. Do I still need to use clear nail polish afterwards?

Please, please, do yourself a favor and take it to a good luthier. In my younger days I tried the methods you suggested and it always looked worse than when I started .

I almost cry over the first one, the ones after that are fun.

If its on the back of the guitar I wouldn't even worry about it. Its not like people are gonna be able to see it and its not like you'll be looking at the back of your guitar while playing all the time. I would say leave it how it is.
