Firstly, both are absolutely stunning woods but I'm definitely more of a fan of BEM. The little knotty (hehe naughty) swirls just make for an outstanding piece of wood
Agreed. Had a look at mine also (haven't even noticed it since bought in 08) and it appears to have both..the bird's eye is indeed sexy. I was mistakenly referring to the tops of guitars which is probably tiger and quilt instead.
