What's up with this picture? Did they make a production Morse with a floating trem?

Floyd Morse

I have a Morse with a Floyd that was made on 2/22/05 and it does NOT float(thank goodness).
The guitars sound MUCH better when the trem touches the body.:D
I did not know that they had started to float the bridges.
Cheers

I think it also comes with the recess rout as well now as opposed to the earlier models, or am I confused?

All the floyd-equipped Morse models are now floating. This started around 1 year ago, because EB was starting to ship floating Morse models around the time of our Morse/LaRue clinic last year, although we did not have any Floyd models come through at that time. (our Ice Blue was an exception)

Just as Pete said, all Floyd-equipped Morse guitars float now.

Wow, that's interesting. I've been interested in a Morse Floyd for a while, but was wishing the bridge was recessed!

Also, great eye spotting that on the black Morse, I never would have looked closely enough to see it.
