I was just getting ready to pose a question on 'how do flats really sound on a ray" so this was perfect. For my tone-goal (deep bottom, clear, piano-ring up high, but still sounding "like a bass" ....I'm still not sure. Do you still get that great SR5 low-D "growl" with flats?
I guess I'll have to put some Chromes on there and see what I think.
