Okay- So I know Flats vs. Rounds has been done a million times....that's not why I'm posting this.

I found a cool video on YouTube, where a bassist posted a video, while playing the same song on his Stingray(strung with flats & rounds)

nice video and playing

Both of the strings sound good, but for the fingerstyle playing I like his flats tone.

I'm on the fence with the slapping tone

I'm not big on the slap tone(with flats), but when it comes down to it. I'm not much of a slapper- I'm intermediate/beginner at best when it comes to slap. I primarily plays blues and rock, so the flats work well for me.

Nice video. I like the rounds for slapping and flats for fingerstyle =)
