Yeah, that's a white ice p/g, but that's going away real soon. I ordered a tort p/g from EB Tuesday and it should be here any day now. I got that one off of Ebay. Where did you pick your Bongo up?

I picked up the Bongo at Guitar Center here in Duluth, Georgia. Besides a few Sterlings and Sting Rays, they had 2 Bongo HH models and one HS model. After comparing them to the Warwick, Shector, and Warrior basses, the Bongo won out for me. THE BEST TONE!!!

I'd like to see the new tort pg on your bass when you put it on. Can you pm me with a pic, or share it on the forum here?

Hey, I'm in Duluth. I liked the Desert Gold one when I played it. I also really liked the Carbon Blue SC/H 5 string they had there.

I almost purchased the carbon blue HS Bongo, that's a very nice color. But then I tried the HH Desert Gold one. Whoa! The HH not only growls, it chews you up and spits you out!

Hey, bassmonkee, do you think any of the other basses in the bass room at Guitar Center sound better than the Bongo? Not I.
