And as a comparison, and to point out the remark of Mike, my Dargie I with frets (similar to fretlines), and the position of the Martini inlays:

that bass sounds like its been made for you oli!

Yeah... after all, it's an Olive-Ray :D

Good god! That (mostly) blank fretless looks sooooo good against that green body.

Indeed, it's crazy cool. And she's got so much thunder, it's hard to believe. I had my Desert Gold fretted and Dargie Delight fretless HH 'Rays with me at the rehearsal yesterday, and the band was just stunned. By their looks and by their sound. Will definitely take both with me to gig on Saturday.

Actually an unlined fretless only had the one single martini inlay, but if you got a lined fretless it would have a full set of martinis just like the fretted basses.

And both options are way way cool! The full set of martini markers would be a good reason to get a lined fretless Dargie. (I guess with all the marker I'd be much less confused than by a lined FL without any dot markers)

Oli have better floor than You! :D

Maybe, but Lonny's pic is more accurate regarding the colour... mine's a bit too blueish.

Played her tonight at a gig for two songs: She sounded awesome, but my intonation sucked beyond belief... However, I'll try harder and practice even more playing the blank plank... it's so much fun!

For all those who never tried, or are afraid to play without lines: Just try it! It's a whole new experience of and approach to bass playing and has helped to open my mind and my ears.

Oh, and I almost forgot: Got several compliments for my basses (Desert Gold and Dargie SR4HH), my sound and my playing. Thank you EBMM for making instruments that are such a joy to play!
