i`m in progress with fine-tuning my axis, and noticed, that tremolo is tighter to dive, in comparison for example with my ibanez` Edge. i have 2 springs installed. i tuned tremolo so it begans to move when bending 3rd string 2whole tones up.
- should i change my string set from .09-.42 to .10-.46 ?
- anything else?

Lube the trem posts where the knife edges meet. Loosen the trem claw screws a little. and stick with the 9's.

I don't think that changing the string gauge will make the trem easier to operate. Switching to 10's might make it worse. Heavier string gauge = more tension.

Try only winding the string around the tuners a couple of times for each string. The Strings get locked down in two different locations in a Floyd system. You don't need an excessive amount of string winding around the tuning pegs. That could add to the "tight" feeling on your Floyd.
