The white one must be a special order musn't it? I assume they've just remoevd the tone control and put switch in there.

tonight I search on my harddisk for some of the pics from the instrument builder (old MM-site). I think I have some of them with different PG-options

Ahh, that sheds a lotta light on the Y2D proto subject that I didn't know. Thanks for that. So, maybe the first proto was the oroginal pickups but with a maple top as the only mod?

A Morse Special rather. Morse standard with a figure top, and a white ice(discontinueing) pickguard.
