Awwww.....durn! :(

Hey Jon, I know I'm thinking way ahead here, but ya guys still oughta think of doing a SUB2 based around the AL body for those who want something different than the Silo style.

Other suggestions:

- Keep it ash bodied, since the SUB1 has alder already

- Use the same SUB matte paint scheme

- Continue to offer trem and stoptail options.

- Offer the 2 HB pickup option, as OC suggests, along with at least the 3 single coil version, and if it's economically viable, a soapbar version as well (all and more are actually more easily doable if you use a swimming pool route - we can then get custom pickguards made up if we want to expand on the original format).

I know this is flies in the face of EBMM marketing research and probably has a snowball's chance in hell of ever happening, but thought I'd throw it out there anyway and go on the record as saying I'd buy one if it ever came out...

And I believe I stand corrected about the SUB bodies being alder...now that I think about it, they're poplar, right?

Still, not a bad choice for a tone wood actually, if ash wasn't a viable low-cost option - I'd go for that over alder, actually.

(Just thinkin' out loud here, gang...never mind me... ;))
