Damo - OMG!!! That is a thing of beauty. I tried, but couldn't picture this!!

I look forward to getting the chance to see this (and maybe even touch it!! :p).

Think you better get yourself onto Ozbass and check out the Melb GTG thread. This baby needs to be there!

And not one "+1" thread ever ;) Although in the early days most of my post were really bad jokes or one liners :D

You just +1'd

I miss those bad jokes even though most of them were at my expense. ;)

Quick update:
Had a chance to play it again tonight. Still only through headphones and still with signal path from bass to interface without hooking up any DI (I usually use my Sansamp Acoustic DI which I use live to DI to PA), but it was not just a quick 5 minute jam.
Damn, this beast is a tonal monster and so versatile! I'm an active pickup fan at heart, but loving the passive tones as well. All tones are useable, and this girl definitely has punch in spades. I noticed tonight just how tight the strings were. The string guide pulls the strings down over the nut ensuring fantastic tight tension. It is very even sounding across all strings.

BP, you and the EBMM team have really outdone yourselves with the 25th series and corresponding electronics package in this bass (and Reflex's) and also the Big Al's. It turns any instrument into a real swiss army knife. Can't wait to discover more tones on it.

Stoney, if I turn up to the GTG with this baby, it'll be game over and GAS for many people! :D Hmm sounds like a fun situation! :D
Cheers
