I would like to thank everyone here for being a big extended family. I have seen some incredible acts of kindness in the past 6 years that shows what a random group of knuckleheads can do to for be human spirit. I have owned my fair share of incredible Musicman basses and am happy to report my collection is now down to one and is the finest bass I have ever played (PDN Honeyburst Single H Bongo). Special thanks to Jack for keeping this place running so smooth and to BP for making the best American made instruments and for inspiring me to buy my first smoker. JOSH

Because the next great bass is right around the corner? Great example- I had mmbassplayers 5HSp (White) for a little while, swapped hardware with a stealth so it had black hardware, sold the stealth, kept the white for a while (it was a great sounding bass and super rare), wanted something else so I sold it to another forumite. I also have one of Jack's Dargies which used to be Strummers Dargie, which used to be someone elses (bikerforhim?) Basses have a way of passing around the forum. I recently wanted another stealth so I sold one of my old rickenbackers so I could get the ebony board and new tuners/black hardware- sweet bass!

congrats on the 1000 posts, I'll never get there. :p

I pop by here sparingly these days, but getting to meet mmbassplayer and hang out with him (and have dinner with his family a few times) has always been a joy. It's cool to know someone local from this place that you can chat with and be fanboys together of a great company and its great products. You guys here really are some of the coolest cats; and, as Josh mentioned, display some of the greatest acts of human kindness that I've seen on the interwebs.
