I wish I had the $$$$ to order one of these babies. I'll just have faith that BP, Dudley, et al. will create something just as nice somewhere down the line when I finally have the $$$$. I'll just have to wait until that day.

The guitar was unveiled a bit at the gig last night. Sounds fabulous and looks awesome too. Oh, and Sharon's new bass is a sweet pearly teal color. Very nice choice!

Pete & Nick are prolly on their way back to CT right now having somehow survived breakfast at the "hillbilly mall", the music store's going out of business sale, kicking around our backyard all day and Thom's countrified gig tonight.

Fred, where were ya?

I'm sure pics & vids are forthcoming.

Janice

Darn. If I don't quit doing this, my posts will bump him over 2,000 sooner!

LOL - I didn't buy it yet, Janice :) but it was sweet - HS Sterling in Carbon blue w/ a moonstone pickguard - just gorgeous. Nick and Pete - it was a pleasure! And you are both evil - tempting me with beautiful instruments.......!:D :D

Janice,
Sorry... Weekend was screwed up from the word go. Nothing went as planned so we didn't have a chance to get up there. It sounds like we missed a good time.

I attended Tommy's countrified gig yesterday and saw said 20th Silo in action in the flesh---beautiful------nice balanced weight beautiful comfy neck and the sound in comparison to Tommys Morse was much smoother and rounder. The morse had more snap and edge--the 20th silo a more smooth, liquid--I dont wanna say Les paul or PRS sound but more in that camp. Tommy got some awesome faux pedal steel stuff out of it. Dammit--now I need to get one. BTW also played Petes Blue dawn Albert----awesome---the neck on that puppy is just sick with birdseye and flame!!!!!!!

I got back at 2:45am last night after an almost 6 hour drive home (figures we would hit traffic, because the way down was only 3 1/2 hours). Thanks to Tommy and Janice for a great weekend, and for takin us out to a great hillbilly mall for breakfast yesterday. I'm a bit tired this mornin and have to get on my way to work, so I will post more shtuff later on tonight, if I don't fall asleep immediately after coming home.

Remember, I have a lot of these babies already on order and should be getting the next batch in near the end of the month.

Check my list to see if anything sparks your "almost instant gratification" needs!

I know that this guitar made me go nutty for the 5 minutes I tried it out. Reserve or order yours today before it's too late :)

Pete,
You sure know how to tempt everyone with those fine instruments but have to say the guitars that have come here tend to get bought up so, can't fault the logic!

Pauldogx,
Hope to meet you next time you drive down for another gig.

Sorry to hear about the traffic and bad weather. Just glad everyone made it home okay.

Hey DuBaldos -- come back when you can stay longer, dang it! :)

gotta tell ya's ....this guitar SMOKES !!!!!
forget 4 a min. how hot it looks. the tone in this extremely civilized BEAST is to die for.

the best sounding 2 hummer guitar i ever heard was an old dried up 57 les paul gold top that belongs to a friend of mine
..............til sunday !!!!!!
i don't know where these pickups came from.......but they are magnificent. not muddy at ALL.....(my biggest issue w/ les pauls...& most other dual hummers)....nice open tone W/ the most natural midrange i've EVER heard on a dual hummer guitar !!!!!
\
more on this post coming.....i'm almost late 4 my day gig.....

I WILL GET ONE SOMEHOW.
(but right now i'm gigging my self to death cause gotta get a new truck. my ole 87 toyota i bought new is about cooked)
