Hey EBMM-ers,

Tax crunch time has come and I've got to let some of my precioussss :D guitars go.

First up is a 1990 EBMM Silhouette, white pickguard, maple neck with medium birdseye figuring, H/S/H configuration with hardtail, 6-bolt neck, 100% stock, clean sounding electronics, original hardshell case. The chrome plating on the jack is a little worn, but that's about it cosmetically. I've never had any issues playing it, no fret buzz or serious adjustments needed. Might need a change of strings...

I bought it used via eBay about three years ago, used it only in the studio and 3 times on stage, never seen any abuse while I've had it.

Aside from the usual hairline surface scratches that any instrument has - and it's not that bad on this guitar - there are three small (>1cm) dings on the instrument, two on the upper horn near the side edge, and one slightly larger one near the output jack. I'm pretty sure a competent luthier could epoxy and buff these out for you.

I'm asking $725 US, including standard shipping & insurance from Canada to anywhere in the Continental US -- which is pretty much what I originally paid for it. Expedited/rush delivery, shipping within Canada, local pickup in Montreal, or international shipping we'll have to figure out - PM me if you're interested.

I accept PayPal, Interac email transfers (in Canada) or postal money orders (no cash, no Western Union please.)

I'll give the EBMM forumers first crack at it here - if there are no bites in a week or so I'll put it up on eBay. Good luck and thanks!

PS -- I also have another original hardshell case for an EBMM Silhouette from one I owned years ago - the latches are just a bit rusty but it's otherwise in perfect shape...$50 + shipping if anyone wants it!

Just out of curiosity whats the pros and cons of western union? I just agreed to that over paypal in another sale.

Western Union

Let's just say that Western Union in Canada is really not the same entity as it is in the States. I've had to deal with them once or twice and it's been a hassle - I'd just prefer good old fashioned electronic transfers or The Postal Service...er, office.
