What's your control switch on? Series? Single Coil? Parallel? Personally, i've got mine in single with my treble at about 1/4, my mids almost full, and bass in the middle. Sometimes i'll boost my bass by a few hairs just for that little extra stank in my slap stuff. So, what's makin' you groove?

Lately, Ive had a use for every setting.

Some of my fav EQ settings for each pickup setting.

Switch towards bridge: slight bass boost, mid flat, and slight treble cut

Switch towards middle: slight bass boost, slight mid boost, slight treble cut

Switch towards neck: slight bass boost, mid boost about 50%, small trebele boost

Ive found those to be good usable tones for stuff Im doing right now in the studio.

Live, it all varies.

I know that I should already know this but in which position(Neck or bridge) does the pickup sound like a regular Stingray 4? I've always liked the bridge position because it sounds fatter but the neck position seems to cut more.

Bridge position is wired the same way as a SR4, so it sounds the most like it.
