i'm in a country band up here in nyc. you'd be surprised how great our reception is. i own my frye's. we even have a token texan onboard. teehee.

Barmy, it's a very special night at Club Dada. I think there are three bands playing - us and two shoegazing EMO ensembles. I can't imagine how we're going to go over, what with our "Aren't You Snickering Yet?" attitude.

At least we got the opening slot. INSISTED on it, in fact. I want to blow 'em down then run away into the night.

But I don't think it will be recorded. They have their own soundman and equipment, apparently very good, but I'll ask just because I don't care if they don't like me a lot.

We heard the club will be open for business when we soundcheck, so we're going to play "Knock Three Times" to get our levels set.

We're perverse, aren't we?
