Forum deal gone bad?

Given the buyer is still waiting for a reply to his PM, it might be useful to contact him and resolve the issue without the buyer having to resort to naming names on this or other forums. Play nice, guys

Tom, it was a used bass purchased from a EBMM forum member.

Not trying to slag ya Mark. EB doesn't sale used basses and said forum member knows who he is as does the buyer.

I am just thinking not here on BP's site.

The trade or sale of basses here is a priveledge not found on many manufacturer's forums

Im glad that Aussie Mark isnt a supreme court justice. There are always two sides to every story...
Having said that posting a thread blanketly accusing someone of fraud here isnt real welcome and Im trying to figure out why disparaging my forum due to a transaction that I had nothing to do with and made zero money on is the appopriate solution.

If this person in fact is a member this could have been handled privately. Thats what pms are for

Hi Mark

There is a huge difference between taking up a collection and trying to get some misreable POS to cough up money after he ripped someone off. If he is unscrupulous, a little anonymous public pressure from a message board won't do anything.

This matter is between the buyer and the seller. It is not your problem, and it is certainly not MusicMan's or BP's problem.

As I said before, it would probably be best to let this thread drop. It is not going to get any better.
