Question Forum mobile version

Hi, I was wondering if there is any way to activate a mobile version for the forum.

I have been checking it from my iPod and the actual format is not too friendly for these small screens. Don't take me wrong, I love the makeover that took place in the page. I'm just asking if this feature is or can become available.

Are you using an app or just the Safari browser? There's supposed to be an app I believe called tapatalk that makes forum browing easier on the iPhone.

I haven't tried it yet, but have heard some decent reviews.

Fred - cool idea. I did a little search on iTunes. It looks like there are two apps that MIGHT work - TapaTalk and TouchBB. Tapatalk supports VBulletin, phpBB, IPBoard, and Simple Machine Forums. TouchBB appears to only support VBulletin and phpBB. I'm not sure if our forum is compatible. If it is, the forum owner needs to activate support/run a script before they will work. Sounds like we need BP and/or Chewie or CodeMonkey's input. Maybe the thread should be moved to the Current Events forum?

TouchBB is neat- I've used it with other boards. Won't work with this forum right now.

Good idea ... let's ask Chewie what he thinks.
