Reviving this thread once more!!!...So I back tracked it to this original post and yest the 6 basses were never counted in, so 974 it is.

I think 977 is the last count. I just added my Bongo 4 Hp and have a 4 HHP being built so there is 2 more for me. Plus the Stingray I got about 6 months ago so that brings the total up to 980.

Dave (Musicman Nut) is not likely joking. He has an amazing collection, which I'm happy to here is growing. It was in the high 200's a couple years ago.

That's why I thought 980 wasn't correct.
So the real total (though probably still slightly incorrect) now is:

983 + 320 = 1,303

Dave went through the Thousand Barrier, and for that deserves the sticker or t-shirt or whatever was proposed.
