Hey folks, I have recently come across a ernie ball bass that has a odd logo on it which I think stands for "officially licensed product" since these words are also on the headstock. the serial # is 2219, no letters at all. it is black with white pg, one double pick up. If anyone can shed some light on what i have here it would be great. Em me at [email protected] tks.

OLP basically are to musicman what squier are to fender and what epiphone are to gibson.
Not outstanding copies but good bang for the buck. (from what i hear though, the later ones were really good), they were discontinued a few months ago though.

EDIT: nice sterling fly :)

sure :)

Musicman SUB bass body, OLP MM2 neck, ALMOST a perfect fit. Temporary OLP control plate too. It's decent stuff OLP is. The neck feels pretty good, but i want to sand it down to bare wood and give it the gunstock oil treatment a la stingray just to make it buttery smooth.
