not hijacking, but I'm thinking about swapping a JP6 roasted neck over onto a Dargie II Silo. like the dargie pickup/switch arrangement...but the JP6 neck is just better for me personally. Both necks are same width at the last fret so is that insane?

Get on with it. as sick a colour as olive gold is already on a luke, the rosewood neck on it will make it an unreal version of a luke. happy days.

Thanks for the advice guys, sorry I haven't replied for a while but I've been away doing a few intense rehersals. I'll give it a go soon.

Do I need to loosen the truss rod, or just swap the necks straight over?

I say go for it. If I had the funds, I would've kept my BFR JP6 with the sweert tobaccoburst flame top and put the rosewood neck from the JP6 I traded it for onto it, no question in my mind.
