I voted for Black, 'cause You said no matching Headstock, right?

Anyway, if You change Your mind and decide to take it with matching Headstock, in that case take Candy Red one! ;)

Deed's done! I've ordered it, but..... which colour?

was it 1, 2 or 3??

The first one to guess it right wins a prize: a Vintage MUSIC MAN window sticker pre EB posted worldwide!

YOU SIR ARE THE WINNER

PM me your full name and address, and I will post this vintage sticker to you.

Candy Apple Red / plain white pickguard / Maple Fingerboard / non matching headstock.

The bad news is that the shop I have ordered it with has been told the following:

"The order time will be around 20 weeks approx."

That's 5 months. Guess what? I have no rush whatsoever. There's a 25th, a Bongo, a Stingray that'll keep me busy in the meantime.

YES!

I remember you suggesting that I go for Candy Red when I listed the color options of incoming ones for stock/sales that I had to choose from.

Let's start a Candy Red Big Al 5 club!

And you thought waiting for your 25th was excruciating; just wait (double meaning intended.)

CONGRATULATIONS!

Congrats, Candy Red is awesome, it would be even better with m/Headstock, but no problem without it at all! ;)

Matching heastock is ok on a rosewood board but in my views on a maple board it spoils the look of the natual white wood. And that is to me at least. Each has their own preference.

You've come a long way since starting here when you were questioning why people have so many basses and that the Stingray 5 was the Holy Grail and it was all that you needed! if my memory serve me correctly...

Of course, it's never really about the need. ;)
