Mods: Yes, there's EBMM content here - I'm giving away the tickets to go see Morse & LaRue! :) - so I hope you'll let this unusual thread live - just trying to be a nice guy! :)

The short version of the story is, several months ago I bought two tickets to BB King at House of Blues in downtown Chicago for Friday, October 3rd - then recently bagged front row tickets to Flying Colors (Steve Morse, Dave LaRue, et al) for the same night - and it's one of only three shows Flying Colors is playing in the US so *have* to go!

I've since bought tickets to BB for October 4th in Ft. Wayne, Indiana - but still have the BB tickets for October 3rd and thought I'd toss them out here FREE for any knucklehead that could make the show.

They're "General Admission Main Floor" (standing!), but I also bought "Pass The Line" so you can get in before the regular doors open and get down front.

I paid a total of $232.30 - but rather than put them on StubHub, thought I'd hook up somebody here - especially if you haven't seen BB before, because sadly he's not going to be touring a whole lot longer...

Post here, PM, or email me - kevin at nexlan.com - trusting whoever gets these to go to the show and not sell them - so you gotta post a pic later! :)

Heck yeah!!! To see one of THE blues legends up close will be surreal. There will DEFINITELY be pics a plenty in this thread when I get back from the show! :)

Thanks very much. And, THANKS to the mods for letting this thread live!!!! I'm sure the Flying Colors show will be unreal!

Sad to say, but something just came up for EdHalen - so he's not able to make it and asked me to put the free offer back on the block.

So, anybody else in the Chicago area interested in the BB show in a little over a week?!

Also, in case you haven't heard, this is likely BB's last tour as he's a *shadow* of his former self. Don't go expecting to see the man in his prime, because he's not. It's more of a "paying respects to the master" tour.

As for me, I've seen him before and am happy if he sits and reads Cat In The Hat - I respect his legacy and relish the opportunity to see him one last time.
