I've searched and only found results for 4 string and I assume 5 is different. I'd like to know what I'm changing with each knob so I can get a practical clue about frequencies.

I ask a musicman employee or someone very well-versed I'm MM, to explain what the eq knobs do (freq center, bandwidth, amount of gain/cut). I'm a technical novice, not sure if my terms are correct/applicable.

I also have SR5 H and HH, 3 band and I would like to know the same data on those.
Thanks.

I don't know the answer, but I'm sure if you write a Mail to Customer Service you'll get the best answer.

You say you are a technical novice. Then why do you need the technical data? I'm just wondering why annyone would be interested in this. Just try out the controlls and use what sounds best for you!

I'm a techie but when I use EQs in studio I rather use the ears than having pre-conceived ideas what frequencies to cut or boost. With bass gig situations, the room and environment very much dictates what you want to achieve with active electronics -- so the best is to experiment and learn how it works, indeed.
