Having a guitar re-fretted is like having new tires put on a car... it needs to be done at some point... find a good luthier in your area and chat with him about what you want. I tend to go with either a stewmac 154 or a dunlop 6100.

MusicMan will do a re-fret. But I am fairly certain they will only use the factory spec fretwire for the model in question. If you want something other than the stock fretwire you'll have to look elsewhere.

I could be wrong as I'm not a spokesperson for the company, but I've been hanging around here for a while.

Is it possible for me to send my guitar back for a refret via the official distributor outside the US (Singapore)?

I would happily bear all shipping cost.

If we do a refret it will be the same wire as stock. If any of you want to do this call customer service and let's save some bandwidth:D

I'm not a spokesman either, but last night I did stay at a Holliday Inn Express

I'm still planing on sending you my EBMMEVH for some work. I'm still waiting for somebody I know who will be in the area where you are to drop it off. I don't trust UPS to send you my guitar.

Unless you have some packing tips that'll guarantee I won't end up with a broken guitar?
